About Me

I’m Alison Steyn, a qualified Reflexologist (AoR) and NLP Practitioner, and I created Nurtured Soles after experiencing first-hand how important it is to slow down and make space for yourself in everyday life.

After navigating my own wellbeing challenges, I discovered the value of creating moments of stillness, reflection and grounding. This led me to retrain so I could support others in finding their own space to step away from pressure, tension and constant demand.

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology for Wellbeing and am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), the UK’s leading professional body for reflexologists. I am fully insured and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice, ethics and continuing professional development. As an AoR member, my treatments may also be eligible for reimbursement through certain health cash plans and workplace wellbeing schemes, depending on your provider.

I continue to develop my practice through further training in specialist areas including sleep, menopause and facial reflexology (Mian Dui), alongside offering supportive reflexology for people living with cancer or life-limiting illness.

Treatments take place in a peaceful garden room, where natural light, gentle scents and open countryside views create a quiet space to step away from everyday demands. Each session is tailored to you, offering time to release tension, settle the mind and take a break from the pace of life.

Alongside reflexology, I may incorporate NLP techniques where helpful to support clarity, emotional ease and positive change.

Who I work with

The people I support come from many different walks of life, but often share a need for more space, steadiness and time to themselves.

This includes:

  • Busy professionals and parents managing full demanding schedules
  • People seeking improved sleep, calm and nervous system support
  • Those navigating life changes such as grief, anxiety, fertility journeys or hormonal shifts
  • People living with cancer or life‑limiting illness who benefit from gentle, supportive care.
